CPTC

The TU Collegiate Penetration Team (TUCPTC) is one of the university’s two primary competitive cyber teams. The event is a red team style competition where students conduct a penetration test on a mock network that simulates a contracted engagement. Each fall, the TU team competes in the central regional (hosted by Tennessee Tech) with hopes of advancing to the global competition at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. The TU team makes yearly appearances in the central regional and made its first global competition appearance in the 2021-22 season.

Info

There are 6 primary and 2 alternate positions. Tryout's are usually held in the spring before regional's in the fall with weekly virtual practices during the summer and in-person practice's during the school semester.
